Three days at the heart of the global aluminium industry: The world's leading aluminium event returns to Düsseldorf this autumn, combining the sector's drive for technological innovation with a sharper focus on critical conversations, commercial clarity, and practical delivery. Backed by an expanded conference programme and closer dialogue with policymakers and stakeholders, the 2026 edition stands as the industry's decision platform and business barometer. Visitor registration is now live.

Aluminium professionals around the world can now buy their tickets for ALUMINIUM 2026, the global meeting place for the industry, taking place from 6 to 8 October 2026 at Messe Düsseldorf, Germany. As the sector navigates geopolitical uncertainty, shifting supply chains and tighter compliance demands, the 2026 edition is sharpening its focus – extending from a technological showcase into deeper strategic engagement. Over three days, decision-makers will find the suppliers, solutions and critical conversations that translate ambition and vision into deliverable outcomes.
"Our sector has done exceptional proactive work on innovation and sustainability in recent years – and now it is moving from exploration to execution", says Patrick Herman, Event Director of ALUMINIUM at RX. "Visitors arrive in Düsseldorf with sharper questions: who can deliver against compliance and market realities, who can be trusted with critical supply, whose technology will make a measurable difference on the shop floor, not just on paper. ALUMINIUM 2026 is built to make those conversations efficient, focused and commercially meaningful."
The 2026 show occupies halls 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7a at Messe Düsseldorf. More than 800 exhibitors and partners are expected to connect with 20,000+ trade visitors from over 100 countries – 73% of them involved in purchasing decisions. The 5-star line-up features global players such as Alcoa, AMAG, Elval, Emirates Global Aluminium, Ma'aden, Norsk Hydro, Novelis, Rio Tinto, Speira and Trimet, alongside specialist SMEs and start-ups. Major exhibitor countries beyond Germany include Italy, Turkey, China, India, the United Arab Emirates, Norway, Austria, Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands, France and the United States.
Exhibits cover products and solutions from across the entire aluminium value chain: raw materials, primary and smelter products, remelted products, semi-finished products, value-added products, machinery, accessories and equipment, software and toll services – with sustainability woven throughout. Themed Pavilions – Foundry, Primary, Surface, Magnesium, and Sustainability – offer focused touchpoints for specialist innovation and networking. The Newcomer Pavilion hosts emerging exhibitors and young companies, giving visitors early access to fresh ideas and technologies. The Country Pavilions from Denmark, Norway and Aluminium Scandinavia provide a structured route into key regional markets.
Three priorities are bringing the 2026 programme into focus: an expanded conference offering, two industry award initiatives, and deeper collaboration with associations, policymakers and other stakeholders.
A case in point is Aluminium Deutschland – official event partner and organiser of the ALUMINIUM Conference – whose close ties to Berlin and Brussels give ALUMINIUM a direct line to where industry policy is shaped. The ALUMINIUM Conference itself reflects the issues that will define the next decade of industrial transformation: from circular economy and raw materials security to innovation, aerospace, mobility, defence, and economic competitiveness.
On a separate stage, the new Sustainability & Recycling Conference, hosted in collaboration with CRU, expands the popular 2024 Speakers Corner into a full conference programme on circular economy, low-carbon production and greener processing. It is complemented by the Sustainability & Recycling Area in Hall 6 – a dedicated exhibition zone, showcase and networking lounge for sustainability solutions.
Two award initiatives – one new, one returning – are already gathering momentum. The new ALUMINIUM Innovation Awards, created with International Aluminium Journal, are now open for entries across three categories – low-carbon manufacturing, product innovation, and smart, connected manufacturing – with public voting in September and winners announced at the show. And the acclaimed Women with Metal Awards are already drawing strong nominations, with an expert jury preparing to select this year's finalists over the coming weeks.
Both Exhibitor Directory and Product Directory are now live online and being populated in the run-up to the show, giving visitors a first preview of who and what to expect. To match the industry's shift towards more selective, time-efficient engagement, ALUMINIUM 2026 also offers a refreshed set of digital tools – including the Lead Manager App, Colleqt QR Code and Exhibitor Dashboard – helping exhibitors capture, qualify and follow up on leads more effectively, and giving visitors smarter ways to plan and personalise their show experience.
ALUMINIUM 2026 is held from 6 to 8 October 2026 at Messe Düsseldorf, Germany, occupying halls 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7a. Visitor access is via the Hall 6 and South entrances. Daily opening times are 9:00 to 18:00. Tickets are sold as a 3-day pass for €52 when booked in advance, compared with €105 on site – a saving of more than 50%. The pass provides full access to all three show days, including all conference and award sessions. Registration and ticket sales are now open at www.aluminium-exhibition.com.
