EUMABOIS GENERAL ASSEMBLY 2025

The annual meeting of the Eumabois general assembly was held on Thursday, September 18, in Dresden, Germany, where the European federation gathered the national associations of technology manufacturers for the woodworking and furniture industries.

The most significant event was the appointment of three new board members who will support president Frederik Meyer (VDMA, Germany) and vice president Enrico Aureli (ACIMALL, Italy), both re-elected, in the 2025-2028 term: Tomas Nieciag (DROMA, Poland), Antoine Vernez (HBT, Switzerland) and Mustafa Sabri Erol (AIMSAD, Turkey). Matthias Kraus was also confirmed as financial auditor.

“I am confident that the new managing board will be able to face the tough season that technologies for wood and beyond are going through with the necessary skills”, said president Meyer, after thanking the outgoing board members. “In a global conflict-ridden landscape, preserving transnational relations and collaboration, though in specific domains, is an open, tangible invitation to sharing and partnering”.

During the day, the federation approved its final balance and reviewed some of its most important initiatives, above all the ETML (European Tool-Machine Language) project.

The day closed with the announcement that the 2026 general assembly will take place in Turkey.
