The event was held at the headquarters of the regional employers’ association FEVAMA and was attended by a large number of companies from the wood sector, as well as by the president of FEVAMA, ASEMAD and Maderalia itself, Alejandro Bermejo, and the director of the biennial fair, Alejandro Roda.
Business leaders were able to learn first-hand about the excellent prospects for the November event at Feria Valencia and about the advantages of the joint exhibition space that ASEMAD will be launching.

València, 15 January 2025.- The assembly hall of the regional employers’ association of the wood and furniture sector, FEVAMA, was the venue on the afternoon of last Monday, January 12, for the presentation to the carpentry sector of the next edition of FIMMA + Maderalia. The event, convened by the sectoral carpentry association ASEMAD, was attended by more than thirty leading companies in the sector, which were able to learn about the key aspects of the upcoming biennial edition, as well as the advantages offered to member companies by the grouped participation format that ASEMAD will launch within the exhibition space of FIMMA + Maderalia, which will hold its next edition from November 10 to 13 at Feria Valencia.
Present at the meeting were the president of the Maderalia Organizing Committee, Alejandro Bermejo, who is also president of FEVAMA and ASEMAD and vice president of Feria Valencia, accompanied by the director of FIMMA + Maderalia, Alejandro Roda, as well as the secretary general of FEVAMA, Rafael Pérez.
The business leaders present confirmed the excellent prospects opening up for the next edition of FIMMA + Maderalia, in which the focus on the international buyer, the opening to new visitor profiles related to the contract and architecture sectors, and the push for sectors such as timber construction emerge as key strategic pillars of the event.
In addition, once again, the carpentry association ASEMAD itself will promote the grouped participation of member companies through a joint space that will become the reference point for the carpentry sector within FIMMA + Maderalia. A space that will bring together the latest innovations and make available to the professional visitor of FIMMA + Maderalia the best companies in the sector.

For Alejandro Bermejo, “the large attendance at this presentation by companies in the sector is, without a doubt, a sign of the good prospects and the great expectation surrounding the next edition of FIMMA + Maderalia.” The business leader also highlighted initiatives such as the grouped participation being promoted by ASEMAD, since “it makes it easier, especially for smaller companies, to commit to events of the scale of FIMMA + Maderalia. Without a doubt, it represents a solution so that all participants achieve the desired visibility within the broad showcase of FIMMA + Maderalia.”
In this regard, the business leaders participating in the meeting applauded the initiative of ASEMAD and FIMMA + Maderalia and expressed their conviction about the usefulness of platforms such as the trade fair to strengthen and boost business in the sector. It should be recalled that, with nearly 450 direct exhibitors at the last edition and more than 35,000 visitors expected, FIMMA + Maderalia has consolidated its position as one of the most powerful professional events at Feria Valencia.
