The Feria Valencia biennial intensifies contacts with various sector associations to strengthen design and construction with wood as strategic pillars of its next edition.
AEIM, FEPM, ASEMAD, FEVE or design associations such as ADCV or CODICV are some of the organizations with which FIMMA + Maderalia has held meetings recently.
Events such as Domotex in Hannover or Eurobois in Lyon are some of the latest stops in the international promotion of FIMMA + Maderalia.
València, 5 February 2026.- FIMMA + Maderalia continues to lay the foundations for its next edition, which will be held from 10 to 13 November at Feria Valencia. Alongside constant commercial activity, the event is also intensifying contacts with the entire value ecosystem of the wood sector with the aim of consolidating FIMMA + Maderalia as the most relevant meeting point for the wood, design and construction sectors.

In this regard, one of the strategic focuses of the 2026 event will be to strengthen the fundamental role of wood in design and sustainable construction, two key pillars for the transformation and future of the industry. In an effort to reinforce this objective, FIMMA + Maderalia has held various meetings and encounters with sector associations in recent weeks, in order to create a more collaborative environment that fosters innovation and the development of these alliances.
Among the organizations with which the fair has met in recent months are associations with a significant role within the wood sector, such as the Spanish Association of Wood Trade and Industry (AEIM), where the FIMMA + Maderalia team, led by its director Alejandro Roda, was received by its secretary general Alberto Romero.
Another of the associations with which FIMMA + Maderalia has met is the Spanish Federation of Wood Flooring (FEPM), one of the most relevant sectors within the fair’s offering, represented by its secretary general Ana Isabel Hernández.

In addition, particularly noteworthy was the recent meeting convened by FIMMA + Maderalia at the headquarters of ASEMAD (Association of Carpentry and Related Trades Entrepreneurs of the Valencian Community), where the president of Maderalia himself, Alejandro Bermejo, presented the key points of the next edition and the grouped participation of companies from the sector in the November event.
Likewise, the organizers of the biennial have also held contacts with the Valencian Federation of Construction Entrepreneurs (FEVEC) and with representatives of the AIDIMME Technological Institute, with whom a working day was held to lay the foundations for high value-added content within the framework of the upcoming November event.
On the other hand, in the field of design, FIMMA + Maderalia has also strengthened ties with the professional ecosystem of this sector. Thus, a meeting was held with the president and the manager of the Association of Design Professionals of the Valencian Community (ADCV), Ramón Arnau and María Navarro; as well as with the College of Interior Designers of the Valencian Community (CDICV), with whom an intensive working day was held led by its dean, Pepe Cosín.

All these meetings have enabled FIMMA + Maderalia to reinforce its strategy and commit to offering a unique space in which wood becomes the protagonist not only in terms of materials, but also as a driver of innovation in design and sustainable construction.

On the other hand, FIMMA + Maderalia continues with its international promotion plan, which has taken the event’s team to Germany and France in recent weeks. In this regard, a team from the fair, led by the president of the Maderalia Organizing Committee and vice president of Feria Valencia, Alejandro Bermejo, traveled to the German city of Hannover to attend the Domotex trade fair. This is one of the major global events for the flooring sector and in recent editions has refocused its offering towards the wood flooring and cladding sector, with the presence of some of the world’s leading companies.
In addition, FIMMA + Maderalia has also recently been present at the Eurobois trade fair in Lyon, where the director of the biennial, Alejandro Roda, was able to hold various meetings with European companies and professionals, which made it possible to convey the competitive advantages of FIMMA + Maderalia as a specialized fair oriented towards the professional market.
As conclusions from these actions, good expectations have been confirmed for the next edition of FIMMA + Maderalia, with new confirmations of participation from exhibitors from Italy, Germany and Eastern European countries. Likewise, a clear commitment by brands to trade fairs closer to the national buyer is observed, valuing their presence at fairs such as FIMMA + Maderalia where their end customer is concentrated, as opposed to other larger, more generalist international events in which this visitor profile is usually not present.
