Manufacturing World Nagoya 2021, which was held for the 6th time this year, closed successfully, attracting 13,670 visitors despite Covid-19.
This year's exhibition provided a new opportunity for international exhibitors to exhibit remotely, enabling them to have meaningful business discussions with Japanese visitors who visited their on-site booths from without leaving their home countries.
In addition, the exhibition was held as a hybrid between the venue and online, and visitors from all over the world visited the virtual booths and had meetings through the digital platform.

KINGSHIP MACHINERY & ELECTRONIC CO., LTD. (China)
I used the Remote Exhibiting Plan for the first time. The result was very good. We had good business meetings with major companies, such as Toyota, Makita, Tokai Rika, etc. I got more than 60 business cards in 3 days. Among them, more than 10 customers wanted to get a quotation or send us their drawings. Remote exhibiting is a very convenient way to exhibit with video calls, I could talk directly with the visitors because I can speak Japanese. It's not so different from coming to Japan to exhibit by myself. We will definitely consider exhibiting remotely in Osaka.
OZE INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD. (Taiwan)
This was my first time exhibiting remotely. We’ve been exhibiting in the Taiwan Pavilion for a long time, but last year we heard that a Taiwanese company had good results with the Remote Exhibiting Plan, so we decided to give it a try. The results were good. It was not so different from coming to Japan to exhibit by myself. We were able to talk to the Japanese visitors by video phone as usual. It was very convenient and saved us a lot of time and money. We had a good discussion with major manufacturers about forging parts. We will consider to participate in the next Osaka show.
We exhibited twice with the Remote Exhibiting Plan for Sep. 2020 and Apr. 2021. Even in the Covid-19 situation, the trade fair had a good overall atmosphere. Many visitors visited our booth and many meetings were held online. Now we'd like to exhibit at the next Osaka and Tokyo shows to find out to what extent buyers are interested in our products.
MINH QUANG TRADING AND INDUSTRIES CO., LTD. (Vietnam)
We are very happy and satisfied with the results of this Remote Exhibiting Plan, so we already apply for next edition.
We have received over 100 business cards, and many inquiries during the show period.
High motivated visitors bring blue prints for their mechanical parts.
We recognize that this Remote Exhibiting Plan is a new business style to expand our business into Japan market.

For international visitors who can't come to Japan due to the travel restriction, Show Management guided overseas visitors remotely via video call. Remote visitors could look around the booth and have technical discussions with exhibitors. The safety of the visit was very much satisfied by participants.
