Did you know UAE imported worth USD 1.03 billion of wood products in the year 2019? The move towards using more sustainable products like wood in the construction sector is on the rise in the GCC region to move towards achieving carbon neutrality. UAE and other GCC countries aim to move forward on the path of growth as new construction projects were announced in 2020 valued at USD 21 billion with UAE claiming more than 50% of the share.
