During Fastener Fair Italy 2018, informative free-to-attend seminars will be organised by the leading fasteners business network Fasten.it. Seminar Programme will cover the most up-to date topics, which are of interest to the fastener and fixing industry and all related sectors as well, making a visit to the show even more valuable for industry professionals.
On 26 and 27 September, you will have a unique opportunity to convene with independent experts and representatives from industry associations. Also this year selected exhibitors are coming to the big stage with their most innovative ideas and solutions.
President of A.I.F.M. Prof. Luca Magagnin will moderate the meeting on “Surface treatments and finishing for fasteners: trends and perspectives for bolts and nuts”. This meeting will have the aim to illustrate the state of the art of fastener coatings and to introduce future prospects. It will include presentations from Ing. Stefano Galleani of Glomax S.r.l., Ing. Paolo Redaelli of Fontana Gruppo, Prof. Renzo Valentini of Letomec S.r.l. (Spinoff Univ. Pisa) and Emanuele Grillo of Tecnochimica S.p.A.
“The Art of Science Friction - a tale of fastener requirements and how to fulfil them” will be presented by Christine Rohr, Eckhard Belschner, Christian Kaiser, Alberto Botta from the COVENTYA Group, the leader in the specialty chemicals field.
Two representatives from Filtereco S.r.l. will introduce “Innovative solutions in the optimisation of the production processes in the fastener sector”. Luca Greco and Marco Tamburini will deliver the introduction to filtration in the fastener sector, discuss process fluids contamination: materials, issues, resolution and available technologies, and present a case study for the fastener sector.
Kay Dierecks and Marco Balestra from Kistler Group will focus on the important aspects related to “Characterisation of a bolted joint”, including basic parameters of a bolting joint, the influence of friction and vibration on the bolted joint and how to test a joint connection.
The topic of “Installation of structural anchors: European rules” will be addressed by Barbara Sorgato, General Secretary of E.C.A.P. European Consortium of Anchors Producers. This seminar will open a discussion on product safety and basic prerequisite for the design of the structural anchors, the role of EU regulation N° 305/2011 construction products and possible approaches to the installation.
The seminars will take place in the Seminar Theatre, located on Level 1, with free access for all visitors and exhibitors on presentation of their badge.
