From 13 to 17 April 2026, wire and Tube will be presented in Düsseldorf as the world's leading trade fairs for the wire, cable, tube and pipe industries, with an extensive and high-calibre forum programme.
Trade visitors from all over the world can look forward to an exciting combination of technology, market and future topics that are currently driving the industry.
In addition, wire will be celebrating its 40th anniversary in Düsseldorf – the trade fair premiered in the exhibition halls on the Rhine in 1986.
Premiere for the special show World of Cables with the presentation of the entire range of high-performance cable end products. From the transformation of the energy sector to renewable energies, broadband expansion, urbanisation and digitalisation – cables are the silent, indispensable heroes of global industries.
Their quality, performance and reliability significantly determine the efficiency of entire systems. The special World of Cables area puts these end products in the spotlight and impressively demonstrates their key role in challenging applications.
There will also be plenty of exciting daily forums and discussion panels, jointly organised by international associations and partners.
The Netzwerk Draht e.V. association provides a forum for dialogue, knowledge transfer and industry contacts, while the Italian association ACIMAF presents and discusses international perspectives from the mechanical and plant engineering sector.
Another highlight is wire Day, which is jointly organised by the IWCEA, VDKM, VÖDKM and IWCEA-France associations. The focus here is on strategic topics such as market requirements, technological developments, sustainability and international cooperation. Together with the International Wire and Machinery Association (IWMA) and the CRU Group, wire is organising a high-calibre forum that highlights current market trends, technological innovations and strategic perspectives, thus providing guidance for business decisions.
In addition, the Industry Insights Day will provide information on the latest technologies, applications and practical solutions – a must for professionals who want to experience innovations live and engage directly in discussions with experts.
Beyond the forum programme itself, wire 2026 offers a platform specifically for young professionals in the High Potential Area in the foyer of the North Entrance. Here, young professionals can meet international companies and institutions to make valuable contacts and discover potential for their own individual entry into the wire and cable industry.
